Hurry, there's at least one who has a half of a clue

Quote
I told a co-worker just a couple of minutes ago that no one will believe the Zimbea article nor the Groves interview.  I still think that we are looked at as the new U.  "We are dirty thugs who rob people at gunpoint, we pay our players, we bought our championship, you name it, we are doing it.  At least that is the national perception about us.

The real loser in all this is college football. Ohio State can't beat the SEC, the barn sees 14 trophies in Tuscaloosa, so they try to level the playing field the only way they know,--cheating. The "have nots" scam the system and justify it, in their puny little minds, by saying everyone does it.  An LSU (under CNS) and barn assistant said on PF today, "CNS made it clear we would be fired for any such violations". It is not every team that cheats to get ahead, but the same cast of characters, over and over again.

HBO had a definite agenda tonight. CNS makes $5 mil, players are poor, the Ivy League choses to lose (LOL), Rich Rodriguez only cheated on rules he felt were not important. The same class envy garbage that reasons that the poor, uneducated masses should run the world. Now they are screaming for reparations in a system that is in the red, due to the Title IX garbage these same idiots squawked for, years ago. Perhaps the present system needs some review, but not by these dumbbells,-- particularly the bow tie egghead.

Tyrone Prothro will do a good job at the bank. Others will notice his effort. His degree will allow for further advancement. Alums in the industry will throw a block for him. He will succeed and eventually learn that the lessons taught on the field translate to life and the real world. That being said, I think I read that he is interested in coaching, which may explain him staying close to Tuscaloosa. The T-News article painted him as dealing with his misfortune, and adjusting well to the realities.

The University of Alabama made a brilliant investment  in CNS. He has paid off in triplicate.  The benefactors (us) will reap the rewards for years to come. To say that a man that has worked his entire adult life to climb the free market ladder does not deserve it, is to say that the kids who went trick-or-treating should hand over half their candy to the kids who stayed home and watched TV. Roll Tide.

I know one thing. The barners down here in Lee County are skittish as %$@#. Even my barner counterparts at work won't talk to me about it.

This mess is comin to a head purty fast. I feel it's just a matter of time before barngate/Victoryland's uncle milton's crew...comes to fruition.

we have waited on this for a long time and I/we hope this is just the beginning of many more
revelations to come that puts the finger where it has needed to be for a long time .

the arrogance , the can't touch this attitude and the we can get away with it because we're fambly

I have noticed a kinder , gentler brand of barner here recently (worried ?)
haven't heard their battle cry very much lately either ... not hardly at all actually .
I might hear it when I release a hearty ROLL TIDE to one of them
but the response back seems a lot weaker than in the past , and
I believe they may just have instructions to change the subject when it comes up  Grin

be careful over there ! at the rate they are going in the crapper ? one of them might snap  Grin

I'm up tonight (morning) with work stuff, so to kill time I've been roflmao at the barn and OSU forums. While both fan bases are denying their azzes off, they both took time to look up/copy/paste the NCAA statute of limitations. Most not guilty folks (wrongfully accused) demand their day in court to prove their innocence,--not a back door out.

the solution to title IX is two part.  1. lower the basketball goal for girls.  2. Add mud wrestling.
