Laughing  He's got his vote wrapped up.

Quote
....Heading into this year, and in no particular order, most would put the following on their preseason Heisman lists: Lattimore, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson,Montee Ball, Denard Robinson, Honey Badger and Geno Smith.

It’s a crowded field filled with veteran players, but anything can happen during the season. If Crowell wants to make a run, his first order of business is stay out of trouble, as he was suspended for a game last year for testing positive for drugs. His next should be to stay healthy, as an ankle injury nagged at the RB last season.

I see Barkley winning it because of the West Coast bias. If it's between anyone and a USC player, place odds on the USC player.

I know.  I said the same thing last year about a certain Stanford QB.  How was I to know he and TR lacked the catchy-name advantage required for a true Heisman.

The Heisman vote last year was a sick joke. Going into the last game of the regular season, Heisman voters showed Richardson & Luck in the lead and RGIII way back in the pack. Suddenly, RGIII has a great game and bingo, he wins the Heisman. He was such a great QB that Baylor lost 3 games last year.

The Heisman is like the 'ole gray mare, "she ain't what she use to be".
