TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Arkansas’ defense didn’t give up a touchdown the first 34 minutes Saturday.

By that time, it was already too late.

Alabama was faster to the football, tougher to tackle, harder hitting and just better than the Razorbacks, rolling to a 38-14 win at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) looked every bit of the third-best team in the country and the folks in Dixie can make a strong argument for the title of the nation’s best after dismantling the No. 14 Razorbacks on national TV.

Alabama overcame its inability to punch the ball in offensive with a bevy of other plays that put Arkansas down for the count.

AJ McCarron hit Michael Williams for a touchdown pass on a fake field goal in the first quarter, DeQuan Menzie returned an interception for a score in the second quarter and Marquise Maze returned a punt for a score in the third quarter to give the Crimson Tide a 24-7 lead.

I expect the line vs Florida to be about 8-9.  So, yes, I think Florida will be more of a challenge.  Any SEC road game will be tough.
