No points system. No SkyMiles. No hotel or credit card points. Not a sticker for his helmet. Not even a T-shirt for Barrett Jones?
"I'm not aware of a T-shirt reward program," Jones quipped as he played along.
What Alabama's star junior has done might not seem overly impressive at face value, but consider what it takes to play four different offensive line positions in three games.
Then consider none of them was the right guard spot at which Jones started for two seasons.
It's not because Jones can't play right guard. It's because Jones often is the next-best option elsewhere, and often the best option.
