Go ahead, Sooners. Make the last move that sinks the Big 12.

The Longhorns would dearly love the Sooners to take the lead. And much of the heat that comes with it.

The Pac-12's not going to ask first. It's been down that road before, led along until the eleventh hour a year ago.

If OU gives notice that it is leaving the Big 12 — or if any of the other remaining eight members do, for that matter — the very foundation of the league would crumble.

Here's what I think will happen, probably before the calendar turns to October:

Your new Pac-16 members: Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

The era of the super conference begins.

Regardless of who leaves next, the demise of the Big 12 is all on Texas.

Texas is just looking for a laundry mat. Someone to wash the blood off and OU may be the one. All Texas has to do is look in the mirror, they are the sole reason all this is happening.

Texas has been a thorn since the Darrell Royal days. They have always thought they were the best and never was any more than anybody else. Now let's see, The only other school I see coming this one way would possibly be Baylor or Texas Tech. I would love to see CTub back in the SEC. CNS seems to like beating him. rofl. Their academics are pretty good but they would have to bar Craig James cause he is a touble maker. RTR!
