Had it not been for the implosion in the first game today it would have been back to back sweeps. That would have been huge for the team, but it's good to take 2 of 3 as well. Applause E-Cred

It very much surprised me how the pitching completely blew up in the first game. I'm glad they kept their composure in the 2nd game and came out with the win.

It happens sometimes. Before you blame the pitching too much the whole thing got started with 2 errors. Once A&M got the momentum they did not let up.

We had our chance to fold in game two. Instead we broke a 9th inning tie with two runs in the top half and Burrows got three easy outs in the bottom half. I am not sure how many but we have won a lot of games with our last at bat.

Taking 2 of 3 against any SEC team on the road is a big boost. A lot of teams do like the barn and go to Ole Miss and get swept.

That's the bottom line: WIN THE SERIES.
I'm very pleased with our performance yesterday.  Bouncing back after that middle-game loss was BIG!
