"Every bowl game is an opportunity for your team to sort of prove who they are," Saban said. "It's certainly a game that you want to play for your seniors, who in our particular circumstance, our seniors have had a great career here, done a great job for us, and even though there is some disappointment in terms of how we finished our season this year, we're not disappointed at all in the opportunity that we have to play in the Sugar Bowl and play against a great team.

I'm hopeful that our team will certainly look at this as a challenge and an opportunity for them to prove the kind of football team that we can be."

There's not much bowl talk in general.  It's early yet. 
Alabama is just gearing up for practice; most of the interest centers on recruiting.

Once the minor bowls start rolling, the fans will start dreaming of a victory to sooth that iron-bowl hurt.

I am looking forward to the bowl season and especially our game against Oklahoma. I am trying to stay calm because I do not want to peek too early.
