Exactly what I thought. Kind of like your kid saying that he or she didn't do anything wrong that day, especially to Joe or Sally Smith.

I am a member of a private Gator's message board and some of the posts there indicate that Young and Muschamp were not getting along very well.  That might explain Muschamp's comment...

Could be a compliance problem but most likely not...sounds like the old tell the cop there's nothing in the trunk there's nothing in the trunk and while he checks the trunk you clean out the glove compartment trick to me.

I played golf with a Florida alumni today. He says he's close to some insiders who said that Muschamp is just getting rid of the deadwood, FWIW.

It took Muschamp this long to figure out he was "deadwood?" The season ended over 3 months ago. This sounds like the kind of excuse you would hear from Auburn fans when things go wrong.
