Quote
Cover Story: Heir Force
Alabama turned what was supposed to be a defensive showdown into an offensive beatdown, and by the second half the only competition remaining was between the school's old coach and its current one. Tim Layden writes about the dominance that Alabama displayed and the continuing ascendance of a living legend in Nick Saban.

I'm looking forward to finding this issue in my mailbox tomorrow  Wink

Amazing two Irish on the ground and no blockers around.

The blockers have left to knock down more defenders.

Picture is a thing of beauty to show how we ground from year to year. One group leaves and another group reloads. RTR!

To be honest, the picture does not convey very effectively a sense of motion. Admit it: You too thought to yourself, "Man, it looks like he knocked them fellers down and he's rippin a ripe one, right in their faces".

If he returns for his senior year (which is doubtful) that could be his Heisman pose.

I hope that this is not a regional cover. I have not got the latest issue in Abliene yet. But the last few years have been a lot eaiser to deal with this crowd out here. I will be glad when I can get back East.
