After their fourth straight win, a 7-5 defeat of the Marlins at Marlins Park, the Braves gained a half-game on the Cardinals for the first National League Wild Card spot, putting them 7 1/2 up on St. Louis in the standings. Atlanta also inched a half-game closer to Washington in the race for the NL East, cutting the Nats' lead to five games in the division.

"We definitely want to win the division," second baseman Dan Uggla said. "That one-game playoff is such a gamble -- not a gamble, but it's one game deciding who's going to go. It's scary kind of. We'd rather automatically be in the [NL Division Series] and not worry about that one-game playoff. But if we're put in that situation, we'll take care of business the best we can." ...

They will need a little luck on winning the division, I just don't see the Nats losing very many of their remaining games.

I can see the Nats are good. I do believe that it will be the Nats and somebody in the World Series. I just don't want to jinx the braves, rofl, so i didn't say them. RTR!
