This is Alabama's eighth practice of the spring, so the Tide is past the halfway point. The Crimson Tide is in shorts today because it will hold its first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday afternoon in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The scrimmage will be closed to the public and the news media. Of the last seven practices, three will be scrimmages (including the A-Day game on April 14).
