NCAA Probation for teams not named Alabama

First let me say I am not a   guy but today a radio show (Bill King) was talking about USC being back next year, and I was shocked that their post season ban would be lifted next year.

I dont get how these teams got away with doing pretty much the same thing Bama did and they come out with little more than a slap on the wrist.

USC got the most but still far less than Bama,
OSU hell they still get a bowl game this year
Miami...did they get anything?
UNC........who knows

That's exactly the example I was thinking of when I typed that.
