From that bowl schedule I see a lot of Bowls losing money, for instance the Sugar Bowl. For a money maker, a Boise St and Bama matchup would bring in more revenue.

Why would Tide/Houston game be a money loser? I see it as a compelling game, in some ways. A record-setting passing attack against the best secondary in college FB, and best overall defense. If they stay undefeated, they will probably be ranked around #8 in the country (#10 or 11 right now). By then, Houston may be the highest rank team we can play due to all the bowl tie-ins, which I hate so much.

The BCS games involving Boise or TCU have been gotten the lowest ratings.  I think a matchup with Houston would only attract Bama and Houston fans.
