For the fifth straight year, I write this address about the scheduling inequities in the SEC. The bellwether year, 2010, obviously was one of the harshest in recent memories. That still does not mean that conference has done the Crimson Tide any favors of late. As I wrote a year ago in this same spot: [Alabama plays] twice as many [opponents off of bye weeks] as the next teams in the conference.

Well I see this has been complained about for the last 4 or 5 years and nothing happens. What are you going to do as long the SEC powers want to punish some teams for winning and give losers benefits what you going to do? Answer: Nothing! RTR!

Much ado about nothing.  Both Bama and LSU have the week off before that game.  The only other conference team we play after their bye is A&M.  Not so bad.
