Excellent, up-to-date review of the defensive recruits.  Must read.  Lots of info like this:

Quote
Dontavious Jackson (LB, Houston, Texas)

The four-star is a top MLB target along with Davis and is coming off his Alabama official visit. Jackson has already officially visited UCLA, Michigan and Texas, and he visited Florida on Jan. 15. Alabama was his last official, but he's reportedly taking an unofficial to Texas this weekend. Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Texas and Michigan are his top five, and Alabama probably feels like its top competition for Jackson is Texas.

Here's hoping:

Quote
Terrell Hall (DL, Washington, D.C.)

The one-time Ohio State commit just finished his Alabama official visit. He visited Maryland and will visit Ole Miss this weekend. Alabama should feel good about the four-star's chances of signing with the Crimson Tide.

Quote
Jamar King (DE, Mendocino College)

The 3-star JUCO defensive lineman got offered recently by Alabama and took his official visit to Tuscaloosa last weekend, but has been quiet since. Ohio State and UCF are also in the mix.

Ben Davis (LB, Gordo, Ala.)

The 5-star Alabama legacy is fresh off his Alabama visit (read about that) and hosted Nick Saban and Gus Malzahn on Tuesday (read about that). Alabama leads Georgia, Auburn and Notre Dame in that order, but he's got his Auburn official visit this weekend.

Lyndell Wilson (LB, Montgomery, Ala.)

Wilson is coming off a great visit to Alabama, he says, but Florida still leads over the Crimson Tide and Georgia. He'll take his mother to Florida this weekend for an official. Could that seal the deal for the Gators?

Quote
Jared Mayden (DB, Sachse, Texas)

The recent Oregon decommit visited Alabama last weekend and then went to Oklahoma. Those are his final two schools, and he'll decide on Signing Day. He wobbled with Nick Saban.

Quote
Michail Carter (DL, Jackson, Ga.)

The four-star defensive tackle is visiting Alabama this midweek, per his coach, and Georgia this weekend. It's down to Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Clemson.

This guy would be huge, eh 2?

Quote
Mique Juarez (LB, Torrance, Calif.)

The 5-star from California is coming off his official visit to Alabama and by all accounts, it went well. Nick Saban visited Juarez on Monday. He's down to Ole Miss, UCLA and Alabama, and the Crimson Tide could get another elite California prospect when he decides on Signing day.

This one is a 5 start DL recruit.  He would make a pretty good nose tackle.

You can't knock him down no matter how hard you try.  He has never once been pancaked.
