5-star Terrance Ferguson commits to Alabama

Last week the Birmingham News had nothing but big headlines for several days about Bruce Pearl getting a commitment from 5 star forward Mustapha Heron. It sure didn't take CAJ very long to one up Pearl with Ferguson's commitment. I think CAJ has a very good understanding of how important it is to beat Auburn.

Is Alabama and Auburn basketball going to be the new Duke vs UNC? 

No. Pearl will be on the first mule out of the barn when a better offer comes along.

So, you're saying that at the first opportunity, Pearl will be on his ass?

"Being a traditional power and being known as a great basketball program doesn't mean as much now to recruits," Meyer said. "It means less now than it's ever been to recruits. What high-level recruits are looking for is a head coach that they can trust to get them to the NBA.

WOW!  When I read the title I assumed this was yet another 5 star football player. 

Then when I saw that it was a basketball player I almost fell out of my chair.

I hate to throw a damper on this, but out here Prime Prep does not has the best reputation as far as and education facility.  I am not even sure it is recognized by the NCAA as an accredited school.
