You saw it, Blake Sims slipped on the turf near the endzone during the Iron Bowl.  He sprained his ankle, and now is listed as "probable" for the SECCG.

Crimson Boz over at Woolly posted that he talked with Blake. Apparently he is wearing it because of soreness. There is no injury. That is good news.

I think it would be hilarious if before some game they gave those boots to the whole team to wear around campus.

That would be great.  I would also love for them to do their pre-game warmups at the indoor facility before a home game then enter the stadium with all of them wearing a boot on one leg prior to kick-off then change into their cleat right before the kick...
