Perhaps the real story is the abject hypocrisy of administration and homer media who would have happily sat on this forever had the 'huskers been contending for a NC year in and year out. But  they are willing to share it with the world now that it is convenient for them, and they will act all outraged and go on an on about their standards.

That's not all. He has gotten into a fued with Tommy Frazier, former Nebraska great at QB and winner of 2 National Championships in the 1990's. Pelini is out-of-control and a borderline nut job. I don't see how he can hold on after all these current and past antics. Remember when Tom Osbourne was AD and he had to reprimand Pelini a few years ago? Tommy Frazier.

Nebraska's administration is definitely not giving him a public endorsement right now.  I wonder who will replace him?

Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst also released a statement on Monday in response to the posted audio.

"I am disheartened and disappointed by the 2011 comments published today attributed to Coach Pelini about our dedicated and passionate fans and supporters," said Eichorst in the statement. "I have spoken with Chancellor [Harvey] Perlman and I have addressed the situation with Bo and expressed our deep concern."

In the same university email, Perlman said he is in discussions with Eichorst on how Nebraska will be "addressing the issue."

A lot of ways to read that last line. Like, maybe discussing a buyout, referring him for some serious anger management counseling, putting him on 2 years of probation and if he opens his stupid mouth again he gets fired, etc.

first off , I can't believe he is the Head Coach at Neb. to begin with
second off , he is lucky to have a HC position anywhere ...

ok , not taking up for anyone here but ,,,

if I remember right , the weather at that game sucked
it was raining and pretty dang cold
the students that left were drunk and some were puking I hear .

his comments were bad enough about the fans , true enough
but the reason I would fire him on the spot would be for his
statement that "he didn't want to be there" period .

he is I believe a Ohio boy ? and that is where his heart is , so ?
give him a one way ticket is the ticket IMHO

I just listened to his statement after the fact
"someone is out to get me" basically is what he said 

he needs to man up and admit he was wrong and
then STHU , aka.... zip it
