Bob Stoops calls SEC's reputation 'propaganda'

Stoops is starting to lose it. He needs to do his talking on the field and outside the Big 12 to be taken seriously. It has been a long time since Oklahoma has won a big non conference game.

"So they've had the best team in college football," Stoops said at a "Crimson Caravan" Sooner fan gathering. "They haven't had the whole conference. Because, again, half of 'em haven't done much at all. I'm just asking you. You tell me ...

"So you're listening to a lot of propaganda that gets fed out to you," Stoops continued. "You can look at the top two, three, four, five, six teams, and you can look at the bottom six, seven, eight, whatever they are. How well are they all doing?

But why should that make any difference to Stoops, really? No one -- well, no one whose opinion matters, anyway -- would argue that Kentucky is better than Oklahoma, or even that Kentucky's better than, say, Iowa State. The SEC teams against which the Sooners are judged are the ones in its top half, the ones that have played eight BCS championship games against teams from other conferences and have won all eight -- including, in both 2003 and 2008, games against none other than Stoops' own Sooners.

I agree with Stoops. No doubt those 7 straight National Championships were created by the media and SEC office has brainwashed the entire nation into believing that really occurred. I'm sure he believes Notre Dame beat Alabama but the media manipulation has everyone thinking the opposite. The power of the SEC and REC raises its head again.

Well I am sure anybody in the SEC would play Oklahoma if Mr Stoops would call them. Even as he mentions or somebody did the bottom bunch. I'm sure Kentucky and his brother would play them. He might even win that one. I do think he might even win that one. He sounds a little bit sour. He win all your games and meet the best one out of the SEC in that BCS game. RTR!

A major threat to any person of power is getting to that point where you are so powerful and so in control that people don’t tell you when you are making an ass of yourself. Nobody has the clout or the balls to check you.
