TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama men's basketball team will visit Cincinnati, VCU and Texas Tech out of conference, play Oregon State and either Purdue or Villanova in New York's Madison Square Garden and host Charleston Southern, Lamar, Dayton, Mercer, Tulane and Oakland in non-conference games at Coleman Coliseum in the 2012-13 season.
The Crimson Tide will also have Southeastern Conference home dates against Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Auburn and Georgia on the schedule, which was announced Friday.
Alabama is coming off back-to-back 20-win seasons and made it to the NCAA Tournament last season for the first time in six years.

Alabama's schedule includes 20 home games against teams that won 18 or more games last season, including seven out-of-conference games against team that won 20 or more games.
Purdue, Cincinnati, Dayton, and even Lamar and Mercer are not automatic wins. Plus, we have added to play a solid Missouri team.
