Coach Saban has this under control.  Seems that only astronauts near the moon would be affected.  We may have power surges, a pretty sky, but not much else.

I walked outside for a look this morning just before 5AM.  No aurora borealis, but when I returned to my computer we had 12 Louis Vuitton (spam) posts left on the forum by aliens!!
