I am so proud of the ladies.

I remember when there was only a few dozen of us attending meets in Foster Auditorium. I had found out we had a team (hey, girls intights!) because David Patterson was in my dorm (Mallett @ Byrd Hall) and he had began to assist our young coach Sarah after he left the dive team.

To think that they hold the NCAA records for attendance at 15,000+ ... at a FOOTBALL school, LOL!

This part caused me to pause:
 "Both of these guys are elite quarterbacks, and Bama will win with either of them at the helm. When is the last time Bama could say that? Steve Sloan and Kenny Stabler?"

How about Gary Rutledge and Richard Todd? Maybe not so much "elite", though GR was better than people gave him credit for, but definiutely could win with either.

If he played in '07, but did not redshirt in '08 or '09, then THIS is the fifth year, right?

It would be a plus if we had two strong centers so that the QB's/centers could be like a pitching battery in basball but, alas, we would not want to take Vlachos out.

It can work, like G. Rutledge and Todd, but more so when you are heavily into the running game --- which, by all means, I hope will be the case!
