Thanks NALT...I found TP on facebook...Thanks Kupcake...
My kids are doing ok...My youngest three just started Public school for the first time ever...it was/is an adjustment compared to home schooling...but we had to since Pam is no longer here to do that. My 2nd son is playing football for Miss College. My 1st son is at UAB.
Have you added any more kids since we talked or have you quit at 15?
I'm doing OK...through people's prayers and the Lord helping me every step in spite of myself, we are adjusting.
Thanks for asking!

Loved him as the granddad in the movie Princess Bride.
Good to see you. I was just thinking about you other day and hoping you were as well as you can be. Thanks Smith. Me and my kids are doing ok. Still miss Pam, but going forward with life. We just got back from a week on a mission trip with my church..that was helpful for us. Hope you are doing ok?

My second son has always wanted to play college football. He will be going to Mississippi College to play there this August. I know technically D3 schools can't offer athletic scholarships, but they can do some other things. He had several partial athletic/scholastic offers from several NAIA schools and a D2 school, but this seemed like the best fit for him.
Not bad for a kid that played HS ball for an 8-man, homeschool team.

I received a check yesterday from those who contributed money towards a benevolence fund for my family after my wife's death. I was humbled. I asked myself, "Why would these people give money to someone they have never met (minus a few of you)?" I don't have the answer. I can only say thank you. If you weren't able to give but have prayed for me and my kids, then that is plenty.
I would like to especially thank Smith and Supercoach for their effort and support with this.
We are getting more into a routine, realizing that routine does not involve Pam anymore. My kids still hurt and wonder why? Yet, those hurts and questions are not quite as immobilizing as before. Please pray for God to heal my kids' hearts.
For me, I realize that I can not raise my 5 kids apart from God's help. Many times it is by faith, when my emotions are counter to that. I may not understand why He took her, yet I know He has been faithful all my life. His Word is true, so I trust He will provide for us and love us.
Thank you all again for your kindness,
Dad

Hey Folks, I just wanted to thank you all for showing your love and concern for me and my kids. Pam and I were married 25 years and now I understand in a deeper sense what the scripture means when it says the "two shall become one flesh". Because when your mate dies, it does indeed take part of you away. The greiving process is harder and more complexed that I originally perceived. I lost my dad in May, but it does not compare. It is by God's grace we make it through each day. Some are harder, some are a little more manageable. Yet by faith, I know my Father loves me, I know he will never leave me as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. By faith, I know He will use this in my life so I can know Him deeper than I thought possible. Please pray for my kids as we go through the grieving process. Thank you all. "Precious in the sight the Lord is the death of his godly ones".

Still praying hard for you and your family Do5. I don't know what I can do to help, but be sure and let me know if there is something more. I dont know why this only happens to such good people, but I believe God is in control. Smith, I sent you a PM at Wolly. Sorry, not being the most tech guy, that was easiest for me.
