"Jake's done a really good job," Saban said after the Crimson Tide's 48-14 win over Western Carolina. "He's been a great team guy, been very supportive of the other players. He does a really good job of trying to prepare for the game knowing that his opportunity could come at any time."
"I actually thought he played better and managed the game better than he did the last time he had a chance to play," Saban said. "He made some really good throws out there. We just want to keep helping him progress as a player. That's what I thought I saw him progress and do out there today."
Should be the favorite to start next year.
