Beautiful here (northern Miss.), but hot and humid.  No fishing today, but give me a few days and I'll be fighting them in.

Overcast and muggy here but no rain...we sure do need some though and I don't mind fishing in the rain either.  As my dad used to always say, the fish don't mind cause they're already wet.  

I'm stuck at work today trying to finish up a sanitary sewer inflow and infiltration quarterly report to send to FDEP.  The bad thing is that I'm sitting on over 400 hours of vacation time that I can't use anytime soon because of all the sick leave time I had to use for cancer treatments last fall and winter.  And, what makes that even worse is that I can't accumulate any more vacation time until I use some vacation time because I'm already over the limit  

Oh well, the fish will still be there tomorrow...

We need to do something about increasing your bandwidth while your down there, so pics will come to us faster.

2S, I really shouldn't complain too much.  My sick leave account went from 560 hours down to 29 hours while that was going on. 


Chech, the closest I could come to catching one of those down here on Lake Seminole would have to be either a gar or sturgeon.  I'm thinking more along the lines of topwater fishing for bass for fun from daylight till mid-morning then come home and do some chores in the middle of the day and then go back out late afternoon and fish till dark-thirty for channel and flathead catfish for the table....

Thanks to those of you who commented, especially WV who sent a PM (not for general consumption).  I'll work on logistics (bandwidth, etc), but keep in mind that just a few years ago (1990s) on that island we didn't have ANY email or telephones.
