It seems strange to be celebrating so loudly after going 1-19 on the road and acting like it is a huge accomplishment against a weak UT team. We play USC next and let's see how things go before we start thinking of celebrating. If we lose, will the same folks admit they are wrong. I doubt it. I hope we can continue to win, especially on the road, but I don't have crimson-colored glasses on, either. The season has a ways to go. USC will be an excellent test of our team, then we play UK in T-Town. Looking forward to both games.

MD is one of my favorite posters but he is about as negative as they come. Lighten up Francis. We got a big road win today. Let us positive guys celebrate.

You got to give him credit! Most of us just thought a split on our road games was a positive. Now, to hear him and his negative out look we should be disappointed Huh? if we don't win both of them!

Is it being negative to point out the obvious? I love Tide BB & Grant has shown very little in over 5 years. I want to win, not be average or below average. Who really thinks Grant has done a good job in 5 years of coaching? Tide BB can do much better. I am excited about the new assistant coach, Witherspoon, who could be a major impact for the team. Mediocrity is frustrating.

I think we have a chance to have a pretty good team this year. Let us enjoy today's win. It is a long season. I do not know how it will turn out but I am optimistic right now.

I don't care who the team is or how bad. An SEC win on the road by 18 is huge! Look at Kentucky, they went to OT with Ole Miss at home and double OT with A&M on the road. I would bet money that we win several more on the road. I'm starting to get stoked about this team.

I agree completely & that's what I am saying, it's a long season so let's not get too hyped-up right now. We finally won a road game but against a suspect UT team. Let's win against a good USC team on the road then we can all do high fives. We have such good potential, I have thought we have a chance of beating UK in T-town, especially if we can get hot on the perimeter. Like I said, Witherspoon might turn out to be our secret weapon.

I agree.  This team seems to be coming together very well in time for SEC play.

I expect us to win both these games, TN and SC, then beat KY in Tuscaloosa.

Ending an 0-19 road streak is definitely something to celebrate regardless of who we beat.  Anyone that thinks otherwise is just being ridiculous.  Congrats on the win today and hopefully we can get several more as the season progresses...

This may sound crazy, but I think we have a better chance of beating UK at our place. Just a feeling I have. Big, noisy crowd, fired up team, I think we can do it.
