Click here for link"We’ve very pleased and happy that Lane is going to be staying here at the University of Alabama with us," Nick Saban said in a statement released by UA Athletics. "He’s done a fabulous job and is one of the finest offensive coaches in the country.
"He is going to have plenty of opportunities in the future and we want to continue to help him develop as a coach so when he leaves here, he’ll be in a very good situation. Our offense was extremely productive last season and we look forward to building on some of the good things we did on that side of the ball with this year’s team." I'm very glad to see this.

 Florida has had a really good team over the last few years (and were co-National Champions last year), so this is a really big win for our team.

Is it just me, or did anybody else think it was totally classless for OSU to score their final touchdown? Oregon had stopped using their timeouts, and there were 40 seconds left in the game. OSU was up by 15. What was the point in that last touchdown? I remember Urban Meyer doing that sort of thing when he was at Florida, and that's one reason why I just don't have much respect for him.

We won the meet 196.225 - 194.375.  That's not a bad start to the season. We had some mistakes, but hopefully we will continue to improve as a team and grow from this meet tonight. I imagine there were a lot of first meet jitters for everyone. Coach Patterson was in attendance tonight, by the way.Thanks for the info. Must have been strange for Coach Patterson to be a spectator. You're welcome. I'm glad Coach Patterson was there, but I 'm guessing it was a little hard for her to just sit and watch. |
