A source told me this evening that Auburn RB Michael Dyer has tested positive for marijuana. Dyer was rumored to be looking to transfer and this news may further that conversation. According to the source, Dyer is looking at a suspension if he stays at Auburn. The source did not say if the test was administered by the university or the athletic department. Both likely have a policy in place for a positive test.

Michael Dyer's recruitment was tainted by rumors of cash payments before Cam came on the scene.  But it seems the 'bigger fish to fry' mentality kept him out of the NCAA spotlight.

Remember back during August when he wasn't on the practice field?  Rumors surrounded him then, and the Boogs quietly said he had an undisclosed injury.

Maybe Dyer didn't know it was marijuana that he was smoking and he thinks he is innocent because of this, I'm sure the NCAA would agree.   Smiley

I am not familar with this source (Hollyturf). Dyer is the one player on the barn team that played at a SEC level. If true, the barn can not afford to lose him. From my viewpoint things do not look like they are going in the right direction in West Georgia.

Remember Kristi Malzahn doesn't like him because he has a lil attitude.  Maybe he started toking to calm down after run-ins with Krazy Kristi.

She might be the reason he started smoking it.  Grin
