TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The progress of Alabama sophomore AJ McCarron continues, and his head coach continues to acknowledge the quarterback's success.

McCarron was 19-for-24 passing for 224 yards and a touchdown in a 52-7 win at Ole Miss last week. His 79.1 completion percentage against the Rebels was his highest this season.

"AJ's played well for us," Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said. "I think he's improved in every game. He's done a really good job of managing the game. He did a great job of managing the game this week in terms of getting us in the right plays, getting to the line of scrimmage, showing good leadership."

Saban later said one of the keys to McCarron's success has been the fact he is surrounded by key veteran players beginning with the offensive line. The unity has four of five returning starters this season.

Everyone is satisfied thus far.  And the same people are awaiting the LSU challenge.

No doubt LSU will challenge his first year experience.

I think Tenn. will be the challenge of the week. If these players look ahead to LSU, then Tenn. will beat us. They better have their minds on the Orange coming down from the mountains to play football. I remember the championship year if the FG is not blocked we would not be playing in that BCSCG. RTR!
