Howdy folks.  Best wishes for Mrs. Dottie.

You're right 2.  We need to start doing some recruiting for this pacle.
2  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Who will be Alabama football's toughest opponent on 2024 schedule? Ranking all 1 on: Yesterday at 02:31:14 PM
Preacher, I think they have the top two correct but I would move UcheaT up to #3. I would also move the Barn up to probably #4 or #5 just because of the rivalry effect.

On the bottom end, I would think that USF will be more difficult than Western Kentucky.
3  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Alabama Softball Earns No. 14 National Seed on: Yesterday at 01:40:54 PM
This year's team is not one of Coach Murphy's best. Pitching is good but we struggle to score runs. They are good enough to earn the #14 Seed and host a Regional. 25th straight postseason bid and 19th straight as a host is pretty impressive. Should we win the Regional we are paired with UT in the Knoxville Regional.

The 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament bracket was revealed Sunday evening, with the Alabama Crimson Tide earning its 25th-straight postseason bid and 19th-straight as a host, coming in as the No. 14 overall seed. The Crimson Tide will be joined this weekend at Rhoads Stadium by Clemson, Southeastern Louisiana and USC Upstate.

NCAA Regional action at Rhoads Stadium begins Friday, May 17 at 1 p.m. CT with Clemson (34-17) facing Southeastern Louisiana (45-13) on the ACC Network before Alabama (33-17) and USC Upstate (30-21) face off at 3:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Laughing Laughing Laughing that was good one.  Banging your head against the wall. this looks like Mrs Dottie this morning they took a cataract off her left eye and the right has damage and she can't see. Pretty much blind and at control. Of, Coruse she can't read this.  Cheesy Cheesy RTR!
I hope she can regain her eyesight soon Preacher.  Just not enough to see just how ugly you are...  Tongue   Just kiddin...

I hope everyone else is doing good.

We had two rounds of storms roll through last night.  There was two confirmed tornados on the ground that followed the same path just a couple miles north of our house.  No damage at all at my home thankfully.

Nelson is really good but, IMO, we need a big man with some weight.  Nelson has shown signs of greatness but he has also been knocked out of contention for rebounds.  I'd love to see a big in the range of 6'-11" to 7'-2" with some muscle mass to give us a solid presence underneath the basket.

Maybe I'm wrong though...

We are getting a 6-11 240# big man in Big Cliff. That will allow Nelson to play his natural 4 position. Big Cliff is a two time all defensive Big Ten player. Second team all Big Ten. A rim protector and rebounder who will average 10-12 points. The piece we were missing last year.
That's GREAT.  I knew that someone would come through with the official news of what has been happening in T-town lately...  Thanks Pmull   Applause E-Cred

Happy Birthday Preacher...

 Birthday cake with smiley

Possible we may have some bad storms tonight.  Hoping it isn't much though...

Just thought I would start a thread here for old Doc even though it has been some times since we lost him.  He was a really great guy.  Smart and funny.  I was fortunate to get the chance to meet him a few times for meals and he was just as witty in person as he could be on the board.

RIP Kevin. Pray

Howdy folks.  I thought I was the only one slacking around here but the last post prior to this was back 3 days ago.  I hope you are all doing well.

Thankfully, our dismal softball season should be ending soon. I just wish they would repacle Murphy.  He just isn't getting it done any longer... I wonder if CNS would be willing to coach the SB team?  I hear he is available...  Grin

Howdy folks. It is good that CRS is back open for business.  Good to see you all back too.

Nelson is coming back to Bama for his last year of eligibility for Coach Oats.  That will be very good as we will have an experienced BEAST protecting the goal underneath.

Preacher, I hope and pray that Mrs. Dottie is better today... Pray

I'm in SC where it has rained for a day and a half. Mrs 2 is hunkered down in P'cola under a tornado warning. Radar looks horrible there.
Pray for Mrs. 2
