Dyer finished the game with only 27 yards on nine carries, but he could revel in a victory that would eventually lead him and his teammates to the BCS national championship game. Dyer was the MVP of that title-clinching win over Oregon, a crowning achievement for an incredible freshman year.
"This year we're not going to spot anybody 24. We're going to play Auburn football."
