Fascinating article & somewhat troubling, especially if Auburn fan. Read the link, incredible. Netflix has done a documentary, too.

The new quarterback at Auburn University apparently is a backbiting, womanizing, selfish, egotistical, uninspiring, feckless twit who last year wasn't good enough to start at a community college in Mississippi.

That's how the creators of "Last Chance U," a new documentary on Netflix, chose to portray John Franklin III during his time last season with East Mississippi Community College.

Exact same thing I thought. If the article is accurate, he's even worse. One of the radio shows was talking about rumors out of Auburn that there were major problems with the team & player discontent. Might help explain Robinson being kicked off team. Heard he was a big problem and required major maintenance and kid gloves handling.

The most telling part of the article, I thought, was when the EMCC coach didn't take up for Franklin at all:

I know, I know. Don't believe everything you see and hear on TV, right? Certainly there is more to Franklin's character than what the documentarians of "Last Chance U" chose to include in their hours long character deconstruction of Auburn's possible starting quarterback.

Well trouble at auburn is common. It is also being common here with us also. Drunks and drug addicts come from the hood but as Coach said we got to keep trying to teach them some way or another. RTR!

Yep, these things always affect play on the field. Malzahn may have cooked his own goose by having these types of players around.

One thing I have noticed when CNS take JUCO players we don't seem to have as much trouble as auburn does. Does it seem that way to you all? RTR!
