Hey guys, I don't keep up with the recruiting as much as I should, but I thought I would offer to be a part-time scout up here in Mary-land if there are any guys possibly considering the Tide. If you here of anyone, let me know and I will do my best to go to games or get papers to find out as much as I can.

So you want us to do all the research and tell you which recruits in Maryland you need to look for so you can scout them? I thought that is what a scout does?

Pmull's been riding your azz every since you moved to M'land. I think he must resent you moving from the great state of Alabama or he's jealous that you live in Maryland. Pmull, you got a secret fantasy about Terrapin country or something?  

Actually it all started back when little cb went to practice without cleats.  I wonder if pmull's daddy used to make him go to practice without cleats.  

True. Oh well. If he wants to take it out on me, so be it. I can't think of anything I have done to tick him off. Still a Bama guy though, so I can't be angry.

Truth be known, Pmull picks at you because he likes you.  You pantywaists don't seem to know the difference. My guess is you have been picked on your entire fairy diddle lives and have developed defense mechanisms. That would include swapping weather related insecurities and sharing adoration for CAT. HTH

I don't mind good-natured ribbing. I engage in it all the time on here and out in the real world. Sometimes I just wonder if you and pmull actually are ribbing or if you are really trying to get on somebody for some unknown reason. I apologize if I miss the signs sometimes (especially when it comes to my weight, and even more about my son), and I am not trying to be overly sensitive:

My grandson plays on Cleburne Co. High but I am not sure who they play tonight. They are suppose to be young and trying to learn this year. I don't get to go to the games because of my wheelchair and not being able to handle the night time weather. Go Tigers! CCHS that is. RTR!

His is the 3rd week in a row I have watched teams run that crazy Gus the bus offense. I hate it. It took almost 2 hours to play a half and it is 42-7. Thank goodness for the mercy rule. Why can't teams play real football!

He must have heard me. Pmull's Austin HS beats Buckhorn 48-7.

Austin beat the tar out of Buckhorn last night. It was 41-7 at halftime and we scored the first time we had the ball in the 2nd half. Coach Perkins called off the dogs at that point and coasted to a 48-7 win. It was an away game so I listened to it on the radio. I think that is the 5th game I have missed in 9 years, all on the road. No kids in school anymore so I am done traveling until playoffs.

No. 7 Austin goes to 3-0 on the year. We play Sparkman at our place next week.

Good job by the Austin boys and kudos to the head coach for not winning any Steve Spurrier "Run the score up" awards. I would think they'd move up in the polls this week.

The top 7 teams in 6A all had easy wins this week. No. 8 Oxford lost to Gadsden 28-21 and No. 10 Central-Phenix City was blown out 37-7 by Opelika. No. 9 Daphne won a close one with Foley 46-45. I bet that was a good game.
