USC Screaming at NCAA Over Sanctions

"We respectfully, but vehemently, disagree with the findings of the NCAA's Infractions Appeals Committee," the USC Athletic Department said Thursday morning. "Our position was that the Committee on Infractions abused its discretion and imposed penalties last June that were excessive and inconsistent with established case precedent."

I understand USC's point. I have never understood how some schools get a slap on the wrist and others get hammered for similar offenses.

However, this is a bad case to prove my point. USC had what they got coming.
