"He ate up a tremendous amount of blocks. He controlled the line of scrimmage, he set a new line of scrimmage," DC Lesley said. "A guy of that size and that ability, people know where he's at and he's going to draw a lot of double teams. Not only in the run, but in the pass game. That allowed for a lot of other opportunities for the other three defensive linemen to free blocks and make plays.
"It never was an issue to Jarran. He never was worried about stats or worried about this. He played his role and was very, very good at it."
