Clemson knows it's a worthy champion because vanquished Alabama was 'the best team'

Clemson wanted Alabama. Then the Tigers figured out how to beat the Crimson Tide on Monday in the national championship game. They know they are a worthy champion because, according to them, Alabama "has been the standard for a long time in college football."
