The Chicago Cubs' 8-7 victory in 10 innings over the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night ended the baseball season. For players from Alabama high schools and colleges, the 2016 MLB experience ranged from the world championship for David Ross to the first taste of the big leagues for the rookies.
