Michael Williams savors NFL debut after 977-day wait

In Alabama's 42-14 victory over Notre Dame in the BCS national championship game for the 2012 season, Crimson Tide tight end Michael Williams caught three passes, including one for a touchdown. Then he waited 977 days to play in another "meaningful game."
