"There was snow in the seats at South Bend in 1976, and Bama fell behind early but made a great comeback in the end. I remember that QB Jack O'Rear played well, but had to leave due to stomach cramps. When Rutledge hit Ozzie Newsome down on the nine yard line, I thought we had them beat, but then another interception killed our hopes."
