Here I am, so close to Augusta and I can't go.  :( Oh well, gonna be a crummy weekend weatherwise, so no playing golf for me. Unfortunately, Augusta will be getting pretty much the same weather, so those golfers will probably have it pretty tough. At least I'll be able to watch it on TV, and be warm.

Rain is forecast off-and-on all day, but nothing severe (like tomorrow).  Today there will be light winds, up to 10mph about noon.  Doesn't look like the weather will favor early vs late starts today. 

JT and Tiger play late today.  Yesterday the late guys (Rory, Spieth, Phil) had a real advantage (greens were slower; no wind).

Patrick Reed is playing solid golf. I do not know much about him so I looked him up. Born in San Antonio, TX. When to High School in Baton Rouge, LA. Signed with Georgia and played there until he was expelled. He transferred and finished his college career at Augusta State located in Augusta, GA.

He also has a past of cheating and shaving strokes from his scorecard during college. He was also accused of stealing from his teammates while at Georgia.

I will not be pulling for him this weekend.

It is hard to believe he did not cheat. He was accused of doing it at UGA and by his teammates at Augusta State.

His UGA Coach is on record as saying he was not expelled due to theft or cheating. It was because of two separate problems with alcohol. His coach never said he was not caught stealing or cheating only that he was not expelled for those reasons.

Hard for me to believe it is overblown when it happened at two different schools.

I don't know one way or the other, and don't really care. I just know that he is not going to be someone I pull for. I like his competitive spirit when playing in the Ryder Cup, but his personality rubs me the wrong way. I would love to see JT, Bubba or Ricky kick his butt tomorrow.

Agree with this.  I wasn't pulling for Reid but he made shots/putts when he needed them.  That's what a champ does.  This will be life changing for him.
