Decatur Red Raiders win State Basketball Championship. I was at the game in Tuscaloosa. We were playing the Druid Dragons, an all black high school which was winning their games by something like 20 or 30 points. They had a 19 year old 6'9" center. We blew them out 90-80 by shooting 57% from the field. I still remember most of the scoring by our guys.

SG-30 points
PG-22 points  
 C-16  points

Here's what our starting five looked like:

PG  6'2"
SF  6'4"
 C  6 8 1/2"
PF  6'1"  (that's the correct size but he was built like the Hulk)
SG  6'1"

What an incredible team. They were 108-54 on the season and had three 20 game winners pitching.

I think you will have to pick a later year for these types of threads. We have too many snot-nosed kids on the forum who can't relate to a year like 1970 since they went to public school and have no knowledge of history. Try something like 1990, then they can relate to something intellectual like Metallica, Barenaked Ladies, Hank Williams Jr., or Motley Crue.
