Northwestern is a private university and just can not afford the insanity of a union, negotiating, expenses, etc. Plus, I doubt Northwestern football is making much money. Only in the Obama Administration could this happen. The NLRB's job is to protect employees rights. Student athletes are not employees.
What about Title 9? The volleyball team will want to be in a union too.
