Winston Sought for Questioning in New Sexual Assault Charge

NYC - An unnamed NYPD source has told the News that Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston, is being sought for questioning regarding a sexual assault complaint they received in the early morning hours following the Heisman award ceremony at Manhattan's Downtown Athletic Club. The victim, whose identity is not being released, claims he met Winston at the ceremony. According to the alleged victim, "It all started with an unwelcome kiss", but then things turned really ugly. The victim alleges that later that night, in Winston's hotel room, Winston forced himself on the victim. The NYPD source confirms that a rape kit taken from the victim reveals evidence of Winston's DNA all over the victim. Photo evidence of the kiss has been obtained from a freelance photographer who caught the moment during the ceremony. Attempts to reach Winston through his attorney have been unsuccessful.

Him? Is it alleged that now he is trying to rape him's? This is the guy that the downtown club picked to represent their trophy. This trophy is on it's way out as a prestige event. JMHO. RTR!

   I am glad that many of you enjoyed the satire. I want to make it clear that my intention is never to trick anybody or make anyone feel foolish. I mean these things to cause amusement. The measure of a good piece is whether you can make people believe the story is real when they begin but figure out that it is not by the time they finish. It's not easy.

   My ultimate goal is for one of these things to get picked up by another board. I feel bad about fooling you guys but that love does not extend beyond our little CRS family. So, the next time I write one of these, I will send out advanced notice. When I write the story your job will be to post replies that indicate full buy in, and report that you have heard independent confirmation of the rumor, etc. Then we will sit back and see what kind of mischief we have caused.

Do not send out advanced notice! Part of the fun is seeing who falls for the joke. If you read closely, normally you won't be fooled.
