Talk about a Friday evening news dump!  Sounds to me like Pruitt and the UTenn admin screwed up big time.  What WERE they thinking? These scholly reductions should bite for a while.

I agree.  Not even  in an off-field role.

Pruitt needs to disappear for a year,, then figure out a way to launder himself.  Don't know what that is.  Maybe a HS job in some obscure place.

UT got off easy. I read where they self-imposed a 1 scholarship reduction and those have already been met. That means they only have the 12 more the NCAA added. That is only 2.5 a year over 5 years.

Coaches got hit pretty hard with long "show clauses". My guess is Pruitt will get picked up by some NFL team. The guy can coach especially on the defensive side. He was with the Giants in 2021 but did not coach last year. I think he is done with Division I Football.
