On Tuesday evening two Huntsville, AL police officers were shot in the line of duty. Both were taken to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Reports are that one of them has died.

FoxNews posted this article

And this WAFF.com article reports that one of the officers has died.

Even though I am not an LEO, this touches me. I have friends who are LEO, a couple in Huntsville so this one hurts. Especially painful after the heroic actions of the LEO in Nashville yesterday

Prayers for the officers' families.

Police work is often a thankless job and even comes with a large amount of disdain in today's society.   Thankfully there are some good men and women willing to serve for the betterment of us all.

Holy God our Father you are needed in these families and this city. God we beg of you to end this killing for no reason. Lord we know it don't matter we can be called out at anytime. God bring peace and comfort to the families. In Jesus name. AMEN RTR!
