Something about this particular transfer situation doesn't sit right with me. Jalen Moody chose Bama, came in, worked hard, and when opportunity presented itself got on the field and played well. Now ToTo comes in and want's to displace all the hard work Moody has put in. To me, playing time is the reward for hard work and improvement, and ToTo hasn't put in any hard work yet.
He missed spring ball. He'll get in school in the summer. Let's see how he does learning Bama's sophisticated D. Moody already knows our D.
ToTo is a good player. He's proven that and I'm glad he's finally found his way to Bama. But for my 2-cents, I'm pulling for Moody to be the starter.
I agree, and I worry about Moody's point of view. BUT...
1. That LB position is the weak link of our D, and lacks depth.
2. ToTo has been enrolled in Alabama classes all spring. Not sure why UT allowed that, but they did.
3. The alternative was Ohio State getting ToTo; much better scenario having him at Bama.
4. His heart is at Bama, so now his azz is too!
