Cool pics Chech.

How often do the grizzlies actually compete with the wolves for food?

Almost daily.  There's one pack that specializes on eating bison.  The grizzlies follow them, and within an hour after a kill the grizzlies take it away.

Mighty fine pics, Chech. The bison in the fog is very artistic.

How is the weather out there now?

That is interesting about the pack that "specializes" in killing bison.  Do the wolves ever kill grizzlies?

@ 2: Warmer this week.  Got up to 80 yesterday and sunny.  My suntan is getting like yours.

@ NALT:  Wolves can't kill grizzlies, but they often mob them by biting their butts until they drive them away from a carcass or the den.

Bison eating Lupine flowers:

A boar Grizzly got to a Bison carcass in Lamar Valley before the wolves found it.  So the wolves surrounded the Bison and waited all day for a chance to it.

Grizzly sow with 2 new cubs (high up a mountain).  The cubs were sparing.

Junction Butte wolf born 2019.  He's standing in the rain, hoping to cross the highway.  But the cars keep coming.  "Oh for the days of the park closure!"  He's also a problem wolf.  He stole a tripod from a photographer. True.

Can't get IMGUR to work.

It's snowing; been raining all day.  I may start home tomorrow, because the pass on Chief Joseph Highway will be snow-covered.  Better to drive that during daylight than before daybreak Wednesday.

I'll call 2 once I get past Cody, WY (tomorrow or Wed.)...
