Bison babies, called "RED DOGS", are racing around the valleys of Yellowstone.  Later this summer the grass will be brown, but now it's beautifully green and yummy for the herds.  The red dogs are still on milk!

Nice day for wildlife viewing yesterday (May 24th):

Saw 3 grizzlies.







Lots and lots of moose.




Bison took over the road.






Mostly it was beautiful scenes as far as the eye could see.

It was.  Love that photo on the bottom.  Yellowstone is HUGE!

I went fishing yesterday along Soda Butte Creek.  The woods were dark and dripping snow.  The stream was clear and cold; too cold for the fish it seems.  In the great tradition of CRS, I caught none.
