Vandy bounces back with a 4-1 win over Meeechigan last night. Rubber match for all the marbles is tonight.

Go Dores!

They said last night this is the 11th year in a row the SEC has had a team in the finals. That is strong.

Yes, Go Dores!

What are the college rules on pitch/inning counts and rest?  Would Rocker be allowed to pitch an inning in relief tonight?

I wish he could pitch the entire game.

No limits. All hands on deck tonight. However, I doubt Rocker pitches tonight. He went 6 1/3 last night. The closer could pitch again. He went 2 2/3 last night.
The ESPN announcers were saying that Michigan is running out of pitching while Vandy is very deep.

I caught the last 1/3 of the game last night.  Hopefully the 'Dores can pull out the win tonight to bring home the trophy back to the SEC where it rightfully belongs...

Congrats to the 'Dores! Michigan started off with 4 straight hits and a 1-0 lead, but that was about it for them. Vandy was dominant after that. SEC shows it's the best conference once again.

Woot.  We were watching from a sports bar.  At one point the bartender tried to change the channel from the closest TV (to soccer), and we yelled out.  He said, "It's just baseball".  "IT's SEC BASEBALL", I yelled back laughing.  By then it was 6-1, but I wanted to see it all.

This coming from the son of an Aubie great:

"Is Tim Corbin the Nick Saban of college baseball?

Or is Nick Saban the Tim Corbin of college football?

Vanderbilt pitcher Kumar Rocker compared the two coaches moments after Vanderbilt clinched its second national title in six season with an 8-2 win over Michigan in a deciding Game 3 at the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

"I said it earlier during an interview, he's the GOAT, he's like Saban," Rocker said. "He's got it.""
