No word on cause of death.  Sounds like he left Clemson and got into trouble.

Quote
Fuller played at Clemson from 2015 to 2017, including the Tigers’ 2016 national championship team. Details of his death have not been reported.

He announced his plans to transfer in February. In March, he was arrested along with fellow former Clemson player Jadar Johnson and former Duke player Quaven Ferguson on armed robbery charges in downtown Clemson.

A source extremely close to Fuller tells us the football star had gone to physical therapy to rehab his knee in the hours before his death ... and it was clear something was wrong.

We're told Fuller tore his ACL playing in a flag football game roughly 2 weeks ago and had surgery to repair the injury at the end of September.

Fuller went to physical therapy for the first time on Wednesday (10/3) as part of his recovery and completed a full session without issue.

When he arrived back to his home, we're told he "went to the ground" and asked for water -- clearly feeling something was wrong.

People close to C.J. called for an ambulance and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

It is kind of harsh I guess but these kids are told what life is about and they at some time in life have to take responsibility for their lives. I do earnestly pray for the family. I told my own kids that when they think they are grand enough to leave the nest then their responsibility becomes their own. When you do stupid stuff there are circumstances that there is a pay day someday to be had. Did somebody tell these kids to go out and become hoodlums? No sir I don't think so but I may too be wrong there. Maybe somebody did tell them go out and get on drugs or get drunk and kill somebody, I just don't know anymore all I can do is pray. Prayers yes for a broken family. RTR!

It looks like his death had nothing to do with thuggery.  As for the thuggery, I read somewhere that the charges were dropped against him.  Apparently it was the other 2 knuckleheads that committed the crime.

I am glad he was innocent but I know as a parent who had a child to die! The pain never stops so those parents are having to live with a lifetime of pain. Have mercy on them lord. RTR!

SC never said he was innocent Preacher.  Just that his death had nothing to do with being a thug...

You know it is sad but this is why I am tough on our kids. Strictness in this world today in raising a kid might just save some pain down the road. I know I appreciate what my parents did for me in being stict when I did stupid this things. Lordy, Mrs Dottie and I still pray for these parents. RTR!
